Robert Silva dreamed of one day reaching the amount of people that this site is capable of reaching. He started Coast Lighting & Custom Hardware in 1972 and then DaSilva's Lighting and Custom Hardware. He had explosive knowledge of lighting, hardware and customer service. He raised me to treat our customers with honesty, respect and give them the best value for their hard earned dollar. We have tried to make that our way of life, to service our customers with all the kindness and respect of a family. We have had regular customers for some thirty years now. Even though Bob is gone, I will always uphold the things he taught me as we grow and expand. This I promise.
